We did it! Went to dinner at Knights in Jackson. At 6:15 it was packed. Christmas parties we assumed. However, we waited all of 15 mins.to be ushered in to a smaller dining room and a Booth. Since our bout with Covid we really like to be by ourselves in a booth so it was perfect. Our waitress was a hoot! A word exchange brought Ron to say,”That is a song I know.” She began so quietly to sing and add a very slight but we noticed a Jig. Oh! We were in for a great night. Of course, I ordered Guinness and Dad Blue Moon. He then chose a 12 oz Prime rib and I ordered the Calves liver w/ onions! Knights is noted for their expertise in making this Entre the Best and It was scrumptious! As the evening wore on we learned our waitress had only been in Jackson since August after having lived, performed in musicals in New York and was a budding song writer. Oh! The conversation…We had a Grand night to add to all our other chalked up memories shared by all our Family these last 20 days. We love You all so much. Blessings abound, Mom and Dad, Gma and Gpa.
